AREDS Health Team celebrates Breastfeeding Week in August every year. This year, it planned a month-long programme to propagate the importance of breastfeeding among the lactating mothers and pregnant women at the grassroots level in Karr district.
Hence, it organized a training programme on the 22nd of August 2022 for the pregnant women, lactating mothers and adolescent girls in Mathippatti village in Karur district. Twenty-four members underwent training and became aware of the importance of breastfeeding, which strengthens the immune system of every child.
